Advantages of Copper Core Cables

Conductor:using annealed soft copper with a purity of over 99.99%, ensuring low resistance and high conductivity.Divided into single core (single strand) and multi-core (twisted). Twisted conductors have better flexibility, making them easier to bend and install.

Insulation layer:PVC: commonly represented by "V" in the model. Low cost, good flame retardancy (divided into flame retardant and non flame retardant), and the most widely used.XLPE: commonly represented by "YJ" in the model. Heat resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical corrosion resistance are superior to PVC, allowing for higher operating temperatures (90 ° C).
Steel belt armor: commonly represented by "22" in the model (such as VV22), with good pressure resistance.
Steel wire armor: commonly represented by "32" in the model, it has good tensile strength and is commonly used in load-bearing situations such as vertical shafts and underwater.

Outer sheath material: usually polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene, with characteristics such as weather resistance and flame retardancy.

Low resistance and low energy consumption: Due to its low resistance, copper core cables have lower power loss (line loss) and are more energy-efficient when transmitting the same amount of electrical energy.
High strength and fatigue resistance: Copper has higher mechanical strength, good ductility, and is less prone to creep and fracture at the connection point. It has excellent connection stability and high safety and reliability.
Corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance: Copper is not easily oxidized at room temperature, has strong corrosion resistance, and has a longer service life (up to 30-40 years or even longer).
